Responsibilities
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach development teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization techniques
Identify and remove impediments that block team progress, escalating organizational issues as needed
Track and visualize team metrics (velocity, cycle time, defect rate) to drive continuous improvement
Shield the team from external distractions and scope creep, protecting sprint commitments
Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement sessions are effective and well-prioritized
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master facilitating software development teams
Deep understanding of Scrum framework, Kanban, and Lean principles
Proven ability to coach teams through Agile maturity stages and resolve team dysfunctions
Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with relevant Scrum certification
Nice to Have
CSM, PSM II, or A-CSM certification
Experience scaling Agile with SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus
