1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all services and products provided by APPIT Software Solutions, including custom software development projects, SaaS product subscriptions, and consulting engagements. Specific refund terms may also be outlined in your individual service agreement, which take precedence where applicable.
2. Custom Development Projects
Our custom development projects follow a milestone-based delivery model. Refund eligibility depends on the project stage:
- Before project kickoff: Full refund of any advance payments, minus a 5% administrative fee.
- During active development: Refunds are prorated based on completed milestones. Work delivered and accepted at each milestone is non-refundable.
- After final delivery: No refunds are available once the final deliverable has been accepted. Acceptance is defined in your project agreement.
If we are unable to deliver agreed-upon milestones within a reasonable timeframe (as defined in the project agreement), you may be eligible for a refund of payments for undelivered milestones.
3. SaaS Subscriptions
For our SaaS products (FlowSense, Vidhaana, TrackNexus, Workisy, and others):
- Monthly plans: You may cancel at any time. No refunds for the current billing period, but you retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Annual plans: Eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, no refunds are issued but you retain access for the remainder of the subscription term.
- Free tiers: Products like TrackNexus Free are provided at no cost and require no refund consideration.
4. Consulting Services
For consulting and advisory engagements:
- Hours consumed are billed and non-refundable.
- Pre-purchased consulting hour packages may be refunded for unused hours within 90 days of purchase.
- Cancellation of scheduled sessions requires at least 48 hours' notice to avoid billing.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Setup and onboarding fees
- Data migration services once completed
- Third-party license fees procured on your behalf
- Custom training sessions already delivered
- Domain registrations and SSL certificates
6. Refund Process & Timeline
To request a refund, contact us at info@appitsoftware.com with your account details, reason for the refund, and any relevant documentation. Our process:
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- A review will be completed within 10 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days to your original payment method.
- Bank processing may take an additional 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, we encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can work toward a fair resolution. If we cannot resolve the matter informally, disputes will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
