Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automated server configuration and application deployment
Build infrastructure provisioning workflows using Terraform with modular, reusable component libraries
Create Python-based automation scripts for operational tasks including backup management, log rotation, and health checks
Implement configuration drift detection and automated remediation for production infrastructure
Design and maintain automated patching and compliance scanning pipelines for Linux and Windows servers
Build self-service automation portals enabling development teams to provision environments independently
Requirements
3-5 years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience with strong automation focus
Expert-level Ansible skills including playbook development, role design, and AWX/Tower management
Proficiency in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning across AWS or Azure
Strong Python programming skills for building automation tools, APIs, and integration scripts
Experience with Linux systems administration including package management, networking, and security hardening
Understanding of configuration management principles, idempotency, and declarative infrastructure patterns
Nice to Have
Experience with Packer for automated machine image building
Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault for secrets management automation
Familiarity with event-driven automation using StackStorm or Rundeck
