Responsibilities
Design and maintain production-grade Terraform module libraries for AWS, Azure, and GCP resources
Implement Terraform CI/CD pipelines with automated plan reviews, policy checks, and drift detection
Establish IaC governance using Sentinel, OPA, or Checkov for security and compliance policy enforcement
Manage Terraform state infrastructure including remote backends, state locking, and disaster recovery
Build self-service infrastructure provisioning workflows using Terraform Cloud or Spacelift
Migrate legacy infrastructure to code and document patterns for team-wide Infrastructure as Code adoption
Requirements
4-6 years of infrastructure engineering experience with deep focus on Terraform and IaC practices
Expert-level Terraform skills including module development, provider configuration, and state management
Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning across at least two major cloud providers
Strong understanding of IaC testing frameworks including Terratest, terraform-compliance, and Checkov
Proficiency in HCL, and at least one general-purpose language (Python, Go) for tooling and testing
Experience with IaC CI/CD pipelines and policy-as-code frameworks for automated governance
Nice to Have
Experience with OpenTofu and the evolving open-source IaC ecosystem
Knowledge of Pulumi or CDK for alternative IaC approaches
HashiCorp Terraform Associate or Engineer certification
