Senior Node.js Backend Engineer

Design and build robust backend systems and APIs using Node.js and Express at APPIT Software in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Build microservices architecture with proper service boundaries
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for backend services
Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews

Requirements

5+ years of backend development with Node.js
Strong experience with Express.js or Fastify
Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
Experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ)
Understanding of microservices patterns and distributed systems
Knowledge of API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, rate limiting)

Nice to Have

Experience with Prisma ORM
Knowledge of event-driven architecture
Experience with gRPC
