Responsibilities
Design and build internal developer platform components including self-service infrastructure provisioning portals
Create and maintain golden path templates for service creation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability setup
Build and operate a Backstage-based internal developer portal with custom plugins and service catalogs
Implement platform APIs and CLIs that abstract infrastructure complexity for application developers
Define and enforce platform standards for logging, metrics, health checks, and security baselines
Gather developer feedback through surveys and metrics to continuously improve platform capabilities
Requirements
4-6 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
Strong Kubernetes knowledge including Helm chart development, operators, and multi-tenancy patterns
Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or internal platforms that improve engineering productivity
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Python, or TypeScript) for platform service development
Understanding of GitOps principles and tools like ArgoCD or Flux for declarative infrastructure management
Familiarity with Backstage or similar internal developer portal frameworks
Nice to Have
Experience with Crossplane or similar Kubernetes-native infrastructure management tools
Knowledge of developer experience metrics (DORA, SPACE) and measurement practices
Familiarity with Dagger or similar programmable CI/CD engines
