Responsibilities

Design and implement security automation within CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI
Manage container image scanning, runtime security policies, and Kubernetes admission controllers
Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code security scanning using Checkov, tfsec, or Terrascan
Develop automated compliance checks and security gates that enforce policy without blocking developer velocity
Manage secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager) and rotate credentials programmatically
Create security dashboards and reporting pipelines to give engineering leadership visibility into security posture

Requirements

4+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps with a strong security focus
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go for security tooling
Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and container security tools (Trivy, Falco, Aqua)
Experience implementing security scanning in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, SCA, secret scanning, IaC scanning)
Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure security
Familiarity with policy-as-code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Kyverno

Nice to Have

CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) certification
Experience with eBPF-based observability and security tools
Contributions to open-source security projects
