Job Description
The SharePoint Developer will build, customise and support solutions on the Microsoft SharePoint platform (on-premises or online) to support document management, collaboration, intranet portals and workflows. They will develop custom components, integrate with business systems, and ensure scalable, maintainable SharePoint applications.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, development tools, and customization techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks: C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server.
- Experience in designing and implementing SharePoint workflows, templates, custom web parts and solutions.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online / Office 365, modern SharePoint development is a plus.
- Good analytical skills, user-orientation and ability to translate user business needs into technical solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, create and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows and web parts in line with business requirements.
- Develop custom SharePoint solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) etc. to extend out-of-box functionality.
- Integrate SharePoint with other systems (CRM, ERP, Office 365, Power Platform) and implement business automation workflows.
- Ensure site security, access controls, governance and compliance policies are followed.
- Debug and resolve SharePoint performance issues, custom code errors and upgrade impacts.
- Provide support and training for end-users on SharePoint solutions and enhancements.
- Document technical solution, site architecture and usage for support/maintenance.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams.
